Our salvage support experiences include:
Wreck removal
UCS provided assistance in wreck removal for the bulk carriers MV Fedra and MV New Flame in Gibraltar where our specialist diving team, together with a dive vessel, provided salvage support services to Titan Salvage for the removal of both wrecks underwater. Our diving team’s specialist services included diving in confined spaces to depth of more than 30m to secure any present pollution and marine damage. The wreck was then disposed of by cutting the hull into easily handled sections which were lifted from the seabed.
Afloat Salvage
UCS provided a dive team, repair team and vessel support services to Svitzer Weissmuller for the bulk carrier MV Tawe which grounded on a beach in Algeciràs. These support services included damage control works such as hull welding and stabilizing.
